Often, welds on these steels are specified for similar corrosion resistance and color match. On single pass welds, mild steel electrodes are commonly used. What is Corten Weathering Steel?Typical tensile strength of based metal (weathering steel) is 68-78 KSI. We advise only welding A606-4 or A588 together.
